Unit 6: Exercises for Mind-Body-Spirit Wellness and Healing

Taking the time of to do the exercise of Loving - Kindness, is a great exercise, even practicing with someone you, love, and a way I find to embrace all of those that surround us. For many reasons I am always into finding a new way of giving, I don't mean by giving gifts, but to really an open minded person to listen. I really like that I can help those in our community. I know I have mentioned that I have seperated with my other half, but it was for a good thing. I really felt that he needed to see what he was doing for himself and see how much energy I put in to our family. I know that I am doing good could do better, been a little off with the exercise this week, but mentally I am right there saying to myself in my head in which for many of things much like exercise I just need to go for a walk, take in some of the world that surrounds me. There really is a lot out there for all of us, its all anout having faith much like our psychospiritual self to expand our horizon's. We need to be happy for ourselves, to raise our children, and to assist our future in the lives we want to touch to making a difference....This exercise brought the kind and sweet efforts that I want to share, give, and rub off onto others. It is also very calming, and can release any distress one might carry.

Mind-Body and Loving-Kindness Unit 5 Blog

Hello, Everyone!

I have for the past week, twice a day, followed both the Loving-Kindness, and Mind-Body exercises. I found that both of them are lifting in many ways especially spiritually. I have been able to keep consistent on the basis with others, some that I have had troubles with in my relationship, to get me through this last week as we are separated right now due to some troubles my other half has. I think that this exercise has assisted me in helping myself along with the coarse in general. As our unit 5 started though had a real awakening for me and some of the emotions and reactions I have come to realize. So I have been trying to stay constructive, following the classes exercise, and find it working. It does take being consistent and the fact that you have to want it for yourself or your not giving your all and without giving your all it just won't be as accurate as your looking for it to be. I have also been reading some materials both online and at my local library to better learn some of many ways to connect with our mind, body, and soul. I think that every one has a way of picking and choosing what they like and there are many things out there for all of us to find and experience.

Unit 4 Mind-Body-Spirit Paradigm

 The Mind-Body-Spirit Paradigm

Experiencing the ocean background was soothing, the voice was a little unsettling in the sense of having the ability to relax, but I was able to make connection, understand, and practice during this guide. If it weren’t for the sound of water it would have been very difficult to follow. My understanding was that in our findings in our selves we are to share this loving kindness to those we are not familiar with, and I was able to connect that with my weekly volunteering at the food bank a way for me to give back to the community in which I have received much help in resources. I believe that it is affective to treat others as you want to be treated, if we follow a way of life that makes us whole considering it is happiness, loving, and unity that brings us together will implement others to want the same, see that there are alternatives, but if we can’t give others the visual in which we also practice it wouldn’t be so productive. This course and this lesson were right on in concept of following the integral way of living. Let there be no limit to what you can do, allow room for improvement, and live by example by daily repetition. I think I have come a long way; I have been inspired to never say never, do all that I can, set an example for others to lead, and to help all those that just need the right guidance or inspiration to gain for their own beliefs and overcoming’s.

Mind-Body Connecting

Hello, Everyone!

Well, I find optimal wellbeing a 6, I am recovering a complete loss from a fire that occurred in our home, I have new addition to the family, and still looking for a place to live. I think returning to school after the baby has really brought me back on track, and this term being in Creating Wellness and HW410: Stress: Critical Issues in Management and Prevention are the most important, helpful, and a great learning for me in such crisis.

For my physical approach to a better way of living I have joined the YWCA, and work out about three to four times a week, I go swimming each time as well with my children, and take walks to the library. I also am very watchful on my diet, stay away from refined sugars by that I mean no pop, and carbohydrates. I am a nursing mom so I do make sure I eat from all foods on the pyramid but healthy wise.

My spiritual approach is to staying positive in all of the things I have experienced to embrace it, welcome it, and look as if I get to start new and attending church every Sunday, and reading my bible daily or when most needed for answers, my biggest thing is I need to stay strong for my children, they pick up every emotion around them. I find that some breathing exercises are very helpful and walking is also a part of my spiritual health as I get to enjoy all the beautiful flowers growing from spring to summer!

In order to follow and implement a healthy way in my exercise and health is to be consistent in my visits to the gym where I do cardio, and yoga. I walk regularly everyday rain or shine, I think it relieves or avoids stress doing so.

After following the exercise the Crime in the Country I did not find any frustration that’s for sure. This exercise helped separate areas in which we correlate a connection with separating into colors, feelings, and emotions. I really take into this exercise as I am learning I find myself very intrigued and would utilize these on a regular basis.
