Unit 8 Optimal Wellbeing, Helath, and Thriving
If I had to pick two Meditation Practices I would choose1) Loving kindness: because it allows me to be open minded, accepting all creations on this earth. It is completely relaxing to me, I like that it is repoetitive in notion, and one can remember more easily. I also before this term have became fond of Buddhism, and if you remember Loving Kindness is a Buddhist tradition and has been a method known to be compassionate. I have a tendancy to be compassionate with many individuals, and regardless of the situations I have been having to deal I have fresh faces that I help regularly to get my fix of accepting those in need, and I am able to give back to the community. I am sorry I am posting this units Blog so late, believe it or not I had to admit a friends father into the hospital, and thought he does not like hospitals and has not been in one for thirty years, he trusted me enough if I stayed by his side, this was not planned and therefore I will take a hit on grade for this, but it really does make me happy to hear others say how much I make them feel happier or comforted when they need it the most. I have been given so much in life to learn, to forgive, and now return to others. 2) Visualization: I pick this meditation for it's Visualization, I like to see things that I learn more so than reading or hearing, I am a visual learner so using an image is very useful to me, it also helps me focus more on what may come to mind at the moment of beginning such meditation state. It is much more guided in it meditation process, and of course I am more of a dry sense of humor person or serious, but focused, and some times this particular meditation seeks out m ore of my inner thoughts that I would like to trnslate for opther to understand, to accept, and aloow good things to come to mind as they do for me in visualization meditation.
